Butterfly House

The Butterfly House is a RiverBend Nature Works project located in Lucy Park in Wichita Falls. 

The designs were to the specifications of Secord & Lebow the architect and Eskew+Dumez+Ripple the structural engineers replaced by Baldauf, Herrin & Associates, Inc. contracted to Poteet, Inc. thru Lake Road Welding.

PDDS was requested to produce all phases of assembly drawings for the structural truss framework.  These designs included mechanical parts, piping, controls, and electrical drawings of which we were only involved in creating the details for the structural truss framework from the necessary drawings. 

The shop details included individual truss drawings and individual part drawings.  Anchor bolt layouts were supplied along with all necessary x-bracing details.
